An evening where refined terroir cuisine meets the elegance of exceptional Champagne. On Wednesday 25 March, Maes, Cuisine du Terroir welcomes the prestigious house of Champagne Abelé for an exclusive gastronomic experience in the light-filled Château Conservatory at Van Oys Maastricht Retreat. Guests are invited to enjoy a carefully composed four-course dinner, preceded by delicate amuse-bouches and accompanied by a curated selection of Abelé Champagnes, each thoughtfully paired to enhance the flavours of every dish. Set within the historic surroundings of the Château, the evening promises a relaxed yet sophisticated atmosphere celebrating craftsmanship, taste and conviviality.
Founded in 1757 in Reims, Champagne Abelé is one of the oldest Champagne houses and is renowned for its refined, elegant style. Guided by a philosophy of craftsmanship and patience, the house focuses on precision, balance and purity of expression rather than volume production.
Abelé Champagnes are characterised by their finesse, freshness and harmonious complexity, achieved through meticulous grape selection and extended ageing in historic chalk cellars. Each cuvée reflects the unique terroirs of Champagne while maintaining a signature elegance that pairs beautifully with gastronomy.
Today, Champagne Abelé continues to embody timeless French savoir-faire – a celebration of heritage, artistry and understated luxury in every glass.
